Carbon fiberglass reinforced polymer, also known as "wet" carbon fiber, is hand coated with UV resistant resin before the product is finished with clear coat. This manufacturing process makes it possible for us to offer the most affordable pricing for our customers. The term "wet" does not necessarily mean that the product will have a glossy finish.

Dry autoclave carbon fiber, or "dry" carbon fiber, uses pre-impregnated resin fibers, making it lighter (up to 60%) and stronger than standard "wet" carbon fiber. While more expensive to produce, the term "dry" refers to the manufacturing process, not the finish, which can still be glossy or matte.
